As of 2:37PM PST today, I'm all about International Expansion!!Yes, Avid Reader, it is true. After managing myself out of a job (do not try this at home!), I have accepted a new position within Microsoft -- and back with my old friends at DRIVEpm. I have officially come out of retirement and have rejoined my old colleagues as a fellow DRIVEr. (Between my final Manhattan DRIVE retirement post and now, Microsoft purchased DRIVE's parent company for $6B -- good times!)
Starting in early March, I will be a DRIVEpm International Expansion Manager overseeing the launch of DRIVE in Japan, South Korea, China and India... to start. I'm THRILLED! What started more than 4.5 years ago as a little start-up-that-could has turned into a multi-million dollar business that is leading legacy aQuantive's online media strategy! And I'll again be on the cutting edge of growing the business -- this time, as Gwenyth would say in 'View from the Top', "First Class, International!"
So, Avid Reader, I look forward to bringing you on what will soon be another series of Life Adventures that won't be real to me unless I can share them with you.
