As I reported in early February, I'm on a new Product Management team within Microsoft Advertising's (MA) Advertiser & Publisher Solutions (APS) Business Group (BG). We had just our second team meeting since we restructured: an offsite on Monday led by our new manager, Brian Boland.
With the desire for good weather, Jen, Kelly, Saskia, Brian and I started at my place for morning sun on my patio. Sadly, it wasn't sunny. However, after lunch @ Greenlake, we finished the afternoon on Saskia's amazing deck overlooking the lake and facing the elusive Spring Seattle Sun (SSS)!
Yes, Avid Reader, I am tan. And pleased.

Opening Day!
I had the chance to attend Opening Day at Safeco Field this week as the Mariners took the field for the first time this season against the Anaheim Angels. It was my second Opening Day ever -- but made even more special with the return of Seattle's Ken Griffey Jr. as a Mariner!
There's not a whole lot of things that define summer in the Northwest, but baseball on a sunny day sure does! The fact that the game went an exciting 10 innings -- and that the M's won -- didn't hurt!
Oh, and yes, I just realized my adventures to date have very much revolved around sports. It's been a pretty awesome few weeks in the good ole U.S.A.! More travels to come at end of April into May. Stay tuned!
